-Inside the cab she held his hand, looking down at the ring on her finger and then over at the one on his. It saddened her a little that they wouldn’t be able to keep them on the whole time, but Rachel had got them both necklaces to hand the rings from while they were in company or back at college. It was going to be hard to keep it a secret, but they’d need too. Of course she’d start the paperwork once they were back at College, change her status to married, but for now she was keeping her maiden name so it didn’t show up on any of the documents and maybe change it later. The world was modern and they hadn’t decided on their surnames, but that could come when they had their big wedding for all to see. Leaning across she kissed his lips softly, brushing the his cheek with her hand- We should eat something first, have a nice dinner in our room, maybe dessert in bed.

-Finn looked at the ring on his finger as he smiled lightly, he did hate that he would have to take it off soon when they were around everyone else but he was lucky that Rachel got him and her a necklace that he could put the ring on so he would still have it with him all the time. He didn’t know what he was going to do when he got back at college cause he would have to research about his scholarship before he would change his status to married seeing as he didn’t want to mess up his scholarship he soon kissed her back softly- A dinner in our room sounds great and I would love to have dessert in bed. Anything sounds good as long as I get to spend it with you -he spoke softly as he kissed her again as they soon arrived at the hotel- Well we can order room service when we get to our room or order from somewhere else.

-Seeing the tear, Rachel reached up and brushed it away, unable to keep her eyes from his face as she was told to repeat her vows and with a nod of her head at the asked question, Rachel spoke- I do.

-And soon they were told they were married, and could kiss, and Rachel couldn’t help but laugh as she leaned up and kissed her husband. Just the thought of it. Rachel Berry was now married to Finn Hudson. When the kiss broke, they were asked to sign the required paperwork, and without letting Finn’s hand go, Rachel guided them towards where the woman directed. With everything final she turned to face Finn- Back to the hotel… husband?

-He couldn’t help but smile hearing her say ‘I do’ and after they were told they could kiss he kissed her softly, he actually couldn’t believe he was now married to Rachel, once they were told to sign all the required paperwork he walked with Rachel as they filled out everything he looked at her as he grinned at her- Yes back to the hotel -he leaned down and kissed her again- Can’t wait to share our first night alone as a married couple -he spoke quietly as he walked out of the City Hall with her and got them a cab that they could take back to the hotel.-

-so, witnesses were needed and they’d been arrange, people who didn’t know them but still witnesses. with her arm through Finn’s they walked towards the woman standing at the other side of the room so they could repeat the words she told them to, and say any vows they needed to say. With shaking hands rings were exchanged and Rachel looked up at Finn with tears in her eyes and mouthed that she loved him-

-As they repeated the words that the women needed them to say as they soon both did say there vows as Finn looked at her as he smiled softly as a single tear did fun down his face as he mouthed I love you too back at her, hearing the final words that the women had to say before they said I do as she finished asking Finn he smiled at her- I do

-seeing him she smiled and moved to take his hands in her own, her smile widening as she leaned up to press a soft kiss to his lips- You look very handsome too, and yes, I’ve never been so ready to do anything. -her nose brushed his cheek and she smiled- They’re waiting on us.

-he softly kissed her back before he pulled away- Well we better not keep them waiting then. -he spoke softly as he had a soft smile on his face as he walked with her into the room so they can say there I dos and such and sign the paperwork-

-Dressed for the occasion and nervously standing inside City Hall, Rachel waited for Finn to turn up. In her hand she held a small bouquet of flowers and she knew he’d be arriving with the rings. Now all she had to do was wait.-

-Finn soon arrived at the City Hall as he had the rings in his hands as he was dressed for the occasion also as he walked into the City Hall and in the room where him and Rachel would be but when he saw Rachel he was absolutely speechless as he walked over to her as he smiled softly- You ready to do this? -he spoke softly- And I do have to say you look absolutely beautiful in that dress.

Surprising it is, even though I’m not that much of a city boy I like New York even though this isn’t the first time I been here.

New York is really nice.  I can’t wait to live there one day.
